Information about To Taonga


It was carved by a group of students from Te Wananga.


Hotumane is one of the ancestors on our gateway.
Hotumane is one of the carvings on To Taonga.


To Taonga was made in the 1990’s.
When Hotumauea died, his body was taken to a canoe down the
Waikato River to Taupiri, And buried at Karamu Pa.


Hotumane was a famous warrior described being a tall and athletic.

In room 12 I have been playing Kahoot. If you want to play go on to click on the blue kahoot, Kahoot when go to the top right and click on get my free account. Then it should say, As a Student click on that, then click on sign up with google then you put in a fake birth a date. After you do that click Join Kahoot. It Should let you in!! Everyone have FUN!!!!!
