We are learning about different types of poetry. They're five lines long. They don't have to rhyme. This year  Room 8 has been reading a story called Frog Whistle Mine. It's about this 12-year old boy called Tony. His mum's name is Christine he doesn't know his dad but his dad's name is Steve. There are these other characters Called  Rose, Lofty, Jamie Duggan ,Betty, Fred and Nick Dawnay Jamie Duggan doesn't like Nick Dawnay and Nick Dawnay doesn't like Jamie Duggan Jamie Duggan Doesn't like French people There were these to French couple that was going to buy a bag of marshmallow Tony thought what Jamie Duggan poisonous it because he hates  French peoples But it wasn't him. This term I enjoyed having Whaea Kat as my teacher. Whaea Kat can be weird sometimes but not all the time. I like having Room 8 as my classroom. I like when Whaea Kat talks Scottish in the book Frog Whistle Mine!!!!
